This beautiful footed platter was inspired by a picture I took when I was travelling down to the Dead Sea. It was handmade using the clay of the Land of Israel, where the Jews wandered for forty years after leaving Egypt and glazed on both sides.
The watercolor style painting depicts the desert trees at the base of the mountain reflected in the waters of the sea.

It is finished with 22K gold kiln fired accents as a symbol of the preciousness of the Bible, and signed by the artist.
